Conservation Technologies is a department of National Museums Liverpool providing specialist commercial services in a number of areas. It provides 3D laser scanning and replication, object display mounts and technical services, sculpture conservation and
training courses. It has pioneered the development of technologies to care for items and artefacts from all historical periods. The resident team of conservators and scientists have extensive experience in analysing and handling objects in a wide range of materials including marble, stone, terracotta, ceramics, bronze, plaster and wax.
