Conservation, restoration and new commissions are undertaken by John Corley Dip AD ACR, ICON accredited conservator, and his team at his stained glass studio established1978. Medieval glass, Victorian and contemporary stained and leaded glazing is conserved at his studio on behalf of Ecclesiastical buildings, English Heritage, National Trust, The Churches Conservation Trust and The Crown Estate as well as private commissions. Based in Somerset between Wells and Shepton Mallet, we specialise in traditional and contemporary stained glass, acid etching, leaded lights, repairs and restoration. Norgrove Studios Ltd is a small specialist glazing workshop making bespoke stained glass, and restoring/conserving existing. We have an interest in the restoration and new creation of plain glazing for 17th , 18th, & 19th C traditional vernacular buildings, undertaking repair of all early periods of glasswork. We use new handmade mouth blown glass to match originals. Our blacksmith will repair existing ferramenta and casements, & make new in wrought iron or stainless steel. We sell handmade glass for sash windows and fanlights, fabricate stainless steel protective guards for stained glass in vulnerable locations, & provide both consultancy and practical works in glass.
Opus, as well as producing new stained glass, are highly experienced in all aspects of restoration and conservation, and have a sound, practical knowledge and expertise in restoring historic buildings and churches. Where extensive damage has occurred they are able to reconstruct missing areas on slender remaining visual evidence, and can produce original panels that do not exist or have been completely destroyed.

Tatra Glass (UK) was formed in 1990 specifically to import traditional cylinder glass and stained glass, glass bullions and glass rondels from Poland. They have a stockholding of over 6000 square metres of stained glass, consisting of over 160 stained glass colours, 30,000 glass rondels and 500 glass bullions.
We at The Stained Glass Studio are a father and son run partnership that was established in 1984. We are based in Worcestershire in the West Midlands but travel far and wide.
