Hartham Park Bath stone is perfect for architectural masonry, restoration and conservation and is a fine grained, high quality and resilient limestone from the Jurassic period that weathers beautifully.
Richard Noviss is a stonemason and carver who carries out commissions for private and commercial clients. With thirty years experience, his work ranges from memorials and fireplaces to decorative carving and conservation of historic buildings and statuary. Richard studied sculpture at Exeter School of Art, trained as a stonemason and carver at Weymouth College and worked in Wells and Winchester Cathedral workshops before becoming self-employed in 1988. Based in Oxfordshire, he undertakes work in southern England. Recent commissions range from conservation of decorative sculpture on the grade I Tower of the Winds in Oxford to masonry repairs at Blenheim Palace.
